New apartment in Gracia, Barcelona

21 Apr

New flat in Gracia, Barcelona

Barcelona’s districts each have their own distinctive features, and Gracia is well-known for its adorable plazas (squares) always full of life and its bohemian artistic atmosphere. To feel the spirit of this district, nothing is better than having a beer in one of its many restaurants’ terraces, among locals.

The holiday apartment is located in the northern part of the district, just two minutes walking to one of Gaudi’s famous masterpieces – Park Güell. This incredible modernist garden is the most famous sight in the Gràcia neighbourhood and despite the quantity of tourists visiting the park, the street is quiet and peaceful and the neighbourhood is completely safe.

Staying in this neighbourhood, you will have the opportunity to discover many kinds of flavours and different cuisines as this area has the highest concentration of foreign restaurants in Barcelona. Plaça de Sol, reachable in 15 minutes’ walk to the south, is the most renowned square lined with terrace cafes where people mingle to drink and enjoy life. This quarter is also home to the incredible Festa de Gràcia : during one week in August, Gràcia inhabitants transform the main streets in what seems an explosion of colour using recycled items, while street artists perform among tourists and locals. A truly unforgettable experience! To learn more about this neighbourhood and its main centres of interest, visit our guide.

This bright rental apartment in the Gràcia district provides a great spot for an exhilarating and exciting city break in Barcelona. Getting around will be also quick and easy: the metro station Lesseps (L3) is 7 minutes away from the apartment. This line will take you to the centre of the city (Plaça Catalunya) in 4 metro stops. There is also a bus station (n° 116) just in the front of the apartment building, if you don’t feel like walking to/from the metro.

This vacation apartment, tastefully decorated, provides a comfortable accommodation to a couple on an exciting getaway in Barcelona. The studio has two large windows allowing a lot of natural light inside and its colourful walls give the apartment a nice warm touch. It is composed of a sunny living area with sofa, sleeping area with a double bed (queen size) and a small but fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare lunch or dinner after a long day of visits and enjoying the city. The bathroom is not very big, but functional and comes with a comfortable shower.

The bonus of this studio is its large and spectacular terrace (30 m2), offering beautiful views both on the Catalan capital and the sea. Your breakfast, dinner, or a simply coffee or glass of wine on the terrace will be an unforgettable moment.
